E90 335i First Track Day
Had a blast at Thunderhill raceway on 4/21/14 in the 335i. I'm a novice driver and have attended two previous HPDE's here driving a 2010 Porsche Carrera. The car perfomed well, no limps or other problems, and the steptronic was great in manual mode. Oil temps were approaching 270F during the faster sessions, 260F if I took it easier, ambient temp was around 70F. The car handled well, easier to drive than the Porsche, with extra torque that was nice in the turns. The Continental Extreme DW's were predictable with good grip. Looking forward to the next event but may add some additional oil cooling to play it safe.

awesome, sounds like fun.
I have DWs on my car now, they were ok on track when they were fresh, now 10k miles later they are noise, and lost much of their grip. Won't be buying those again.
