It's telling to you your dpf is getting close to blocked, on way to get it to regen now once the code is stored is to have it deleted first then a regen forced and take for a spin . If you ignore this warning it will soon block completely leading to poor performance and other problems.
But you need to address the issue why it has blocked are you getting upto temperature ?
a lot of short journeys lately?

So I have to have codes wiped take it on a run and see if it shows light again?

What problems will happen if it's left? Because car is driving fine at the moment

The DPF will clog completely, the car will go into limp mode and you will have a big bill.....

As said, get the code cleared, regen forced and all should be good.

Youll need to clear the codes as you drive (get a co driver to clear the codes every few mins).
Same thing happended on mine and forced a regen after about 15-20 miles of driving and clearing the codes.

If you don't have someone to assist in manually reading/clearing the codes I know ISTA /D Rheingold has a DPF Regen service function. You ask it to do the Regen, then drive off whilst still connected. It has a live status of the Regen.

It's been covered quite a lot, but I'd recommend checking the engine is running at the correct temp (via hidden menu)

So if it isn't it'll cost you half as much and save the hassle of you getting another forced regen in a few months time
