Should I paint my diffuser?

I bought an Mtech rear bumper, but the diffuser is a little scratched up. I need to get it resprayed to jet black anyway, so I'm wondering if I should just have them paint the diffuser jet black as well, or would it not look right?

Yeah I'm not sure. My paint guy said he would do it for the same price. I figure a nice black one would be better than a scratched up gray one.

Get it painted matte/satin black. It wouldn't look right all black. Gotta have some contrast.

More aggressive form and I already have the m3 style front bumper and side skirts, so I want the whole kit.

Hmmm that works too I guess. Personally, I'd rather paint it to be permanent so I don't have to worry about peeling or whatnot. That's just me though.

I'll show you a picture of what it looks like on a mineral white m-tech rear with gloss black accents.

The black paint being used is the same paint used for on Porsches. It was painted and clear coated.

i dont know, might not be for everyone, i love it and cant wait to get my car back from the bodyshop. hope this will give you an idea of what your car will look like even though it is all black. best of luck smithers

Mine was body color but I painted it gloss black with some higher quality rattle cans and clear coated it. Looks awesome! The contrast make its look great.

My rear aero diffuser is dark silver, which I believe is a subtle contrast to the jet black. Tips are 4" double-wall angle cut.

We had the diffuser painted gloss black on the boy's Space Gray E92. I will get a pic or two when it stops raining for you. The contrast is the way to go in my opinion.
