Tint Shop in/around Philly

Dealer recommended Perzan but they are crazy expensive, like $400 to tint my 235. Reading good things about Shades of Grey, they quoted me under $200. Anyone with personal experience? Any others I should check out? Thanks in advance!

thats pretty normal. but it really comes down to if you're leasing or financing. if you're leasing, theres no point in investing in a expensive tint.

if you're owning, there actually is a different in the premium tints. the shades are different and have more uv blocking power.. but honestly end of the day, it won't make a huge difference going form the cheap one to the expensive one.

for me i was quoted $225 for 5 windows + a front banner. IMO front banner is a must. helps the eye in terms of looks and dmg

Leasing. I think the lower quote I got was for Llumar film, how bad can it possibly be? Tinting because 1. I like the look and 2. Will be more comfortable to drive / ride in. Not really worried about preserving the interior for the next owner. I am much more concerned with the quality of the install vs high tech films. Am I thinking about this the right way? Never tinted anything before (Touareg and S4 came tinted from dealer).

you won't be able to tell a noticeable difference in terms of quick glance looks. get the cheaper one and save yourself the money. they all look the same.

most of the shops now a days takes care of bubbling or peeling. at the Least they give you a 3 year warrantee.

Any bubbling/peeling will be covered, but not on the discoloration (if it were to happen)

Gotcha. I'll error on the side of paying half price and getting it done again if it needs it within my lease (which I highly doubt) versus paying double now. Thanks again for the help.

Shades of Gray

Hey I had them tint 4 of my cars and never ever had a problem.
I have had their tint on my 09 John Cooper Works Mini since new and its perfect. I highly recommend them.

Dynamic Tint is great, they tinted my last car. They give you a lifetime warranty with each job they do.
