Road course guys, what tires in the wet?
I know a number of us use R compounds of all varieties in the dry: Hoosier R6's, Nitto NT01's, Pilot Sport Cups, Kuhmo's, etc.
The question is, what tires do you use in the wet?

Toyo RA1...full tread. I use to have these as my rain race tires for my Spec Miata. Still heat cycle them...but dont get them shaved..

For the most part, yes Toyo RA1. Depends on your goal/purpose. Purpose is to win and in the wet...Hoosier Radial Wets (or the DOT version). But if it stops raining...aim for the wet track...they won't last long in the dry...too much heat build up. Good thing about the Toyo RA1's...the more rubber you wear off of them, the gripper the tire gets.
