Winter tires/wheel set up

I've searched tirerack and found no 17" wheels for the same price as the ASA JH3 for my 335i coupe. When will more come in? I live in the DC/Baltimore area of MD and don't see a ton of snow but I don't want to be stuck when it does start snowing, would winter performance tires be ok for me? How are the Continental ContiWinterContact TS810 tires?

Thanks
