Price in the US based on Mexico price

If we consider the price in Mexico of US$89,390, then taking out Mexico taxes (15% value added tax, 10% new car tax), the price in the US should be in the range of US$70,664, more or less for a fully equipped car, 19" wheels, EDC, M-Drive, i-drive, etc.

Thanks for the info. Yes, that is somewhat consistent with the $57-$58k base MSRP estimate Davo2003 has come up with based on US MIL sales pricing info he got a hold of last week. But different markets are...well...different.

Yes. That's the price I paid for my E92 M3. The car was launched in Mexico at the beginning of November. My car was the first in Monterrey.

I doubt it.

Taking that exact same math into equation, how do other current BMW’s compare? I.E. the current Mexican and US price for a 3 or 5?

Nice pancho, did you end up getting the car with the optional 19, most M3 i have seen here in mcallen from mexico are with 18s. I went to monterry awhile back and ended up having trouble with all the topes and my rims came back well one of them pretty scratched.

Mexican Prices:
325i Sedan Premium: US$45,200
325i Sedan Progressive: US$43,200
335i Coupe: US$55,700
335i Sedan: US$53,000
530i Sedan Top Active Dynamic: US$66,300
550i Sedan Top Active Dynamic: US$84,500

The formula not always applies but it should be more or less consistent. From the Mexican price take out 15% value added tax and 10% new car Tax, or just divide the mexican price by 1.265 to arrive to US price.

All BMW M3 E92 coming to Mexico have the 19" wheels. Streets here in Monterrey are OK for an M3 or RS4 but not for a Porsche. Too bumpy and harsh of a ride with a 911.
