275 or 265 on 18x10 wheel

Hi guys,

I'm about to pull the trigger on a new set of Continental DW's but I'm unsure what size rears to get.

Has anyone had experience either good or bad going from 265/35 to a 275/35?

My current tires are 265/35/18 on 18x10 et30 and the side walls are not stretched by any means but they are not flush up and down with the face of the wheel either.

My question is will I notice a real difference in handling, traction or acceleration with a size bigger tire?
How much real benefit will I notice, or inversely, have I been missing out on?

2007 E90 335i
BBS CH 18x10

Thanks!

So I went with the 275s and I'm glad I did

Report:
18x10 et30 rubs during extreme twisties but I'm on stock floaty suspension and running a 10mm spacer. I assume I'll have to loose the spacer when I lower it.

I went from 255/35ZR18 to 275/35ZR18 in the rear, and I have noticeably more grip. Both sets are Michelin PSS. I'm running a 18x9.5" ET35 in the rear, and have no rubbing issues. My car is pre-LCI, RWD, with factory sport suspension.

My setup is:

Front: 235/40ZR18, 18x8.5" rim, ET25 (ET 35 + 10mm spacer)
Rear: 275/35ZR18, 18x9.5" rim, ET35

Cheers!
