I'm running 193's with stock Bridgestone Potenza RFT and want to add wheel spacers. I have read I can go as high as 12mm on the front and 15mm on the rear. I want to go as aggressive as i can without rolling the fenders. My car is stock height with sports suspension and i'm not planning to lower it.

Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks

I have no problem w/12 & 15mm spacers on my 193's w/Michelin PSSs on my "stock" sport package 2008 sedan w/Koni FSDs. The 12mm spacers push the front wheels out about as far as I'd like, but I think I could go out to 18mm in the rear if I wanted to w/o any problem. Not sure if it work as well w/an E92.

The best method to figuring out what spacer size to run is to measure.

Any chance you could post a pic of your car with the spacers? I think im gonna take your advice and go with the 12/18mm set up.

do you have to retorque spacers periodically? No issues with safety, or vibrations?

Nope no issues with safety or vibrations. You just need to install them properly. Sand down your wheel hubs and use a torque wrench to tighten them down.

I would check them after 50 miles or so though.

FWIW, I am NOT recommending that you go w/the 18mm spacers in the rear!

I just said that I thought that I "could" go w/18mm on my E90 but that might not work w/your E92. From what I've read and seen, you should be fine w/the 12/15mm combo on your E92 but I don't think I've seen a pic of anyone running w/18mm in the rear of an E92 yet. So, you should do your own research on that before committing to the 18mm's in the rear.

The angles aren't all that great but you can some some pics of the 12/15mm spacers on my E90 here.

Ya the 18mm wont fit on the e92. I'm gonna stick with the 12/15mm combo. It looks great on your car btw.

By coincidence, I've lined up a pair of new 18mm RS Technik spacers for a good price locally and am going to give them a try.

Update 04/09/14 - 18mm Rear Spacers installed:

Uploaded some pics of the rear wheels w/the 18mm spacers that I installed today on the E90 to the same post that I previously mentioned here.

It's subtle but it looks better (to me) than w/the 15mm spacers. Could actually go 20mm if I wanted but I think that's it. I'm running the stock OEM sport package. So, rubbing shouldn't be an issue because there's still a lot of room been between the fender and the tires BUT, it probably would be a concern if I lowered the car anymore (which I do not plan to do).

I'm going to wait a awhile to see if there is any rubbing or not and, if not, I'll put the pair of VRSF 15mm spacers up for sale.

Update 04/12/14 -- Rear Passenger Side Tire Rubbing w/18mm Spacer:

Took the car on a drive on a twisty back road w/a lot of dips and surface irregularity and discovered that the right rear passenger side tire rubs when the car hits sharp dips; can see the rubbing on the tire and fender edge. No rubbing on the rear driver's side. Only happens on the rear passenger side tire when hitting sharp dips at speed.

Will either have to go back to the 15mm spacers in the rear or just drive slower and more smoothly when hitting poorly paved and uneven road surfaces on the back roads.

Looks awesome! I can definitely see a difference!

That's the look i'm going for, I want them to be flush with the fender. I'm hoping the 12/15 combo works for me.
