Time Frame for Release of an Eisenmann Exhaust?
I thought I read somewhere that Eisenmann actually develops or has developed the OEM exhaust systems for BMW. Maybe I'm making this up. I also want to say I remember them having a product available very shortly after the release of the E9X. Anyone have a guess?

There was an article in Auto Bild Sportscars (or perhaps Sport Auto) that featured an article on Akrapovic. In the same Magazine/article it was also stated that the F8x exhaust system was codeveloped with Akrapovic.
I believe that Eisenmann has a closer connection with AMG. BMW M seems to prefer Akrapovic for their sports exhausts. |

The article wasn't 100% clear on that. But at the time, I got the impression they referred to the std exhaust. But with hindsight they might have meant the performance exhaust...
