Tire sizes

I'm thinking if getting Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires staggered with MORR VS8.2,vmr v710, or Forgestar f14 wheels. I have a 335i coupe with 2008 sport package Monaco blue, I'm wondering how wide I can go without messing up the ride, rub and will like nice. I'm thinking 245/295?

It depends on your wheel width and offsets. But a 295 most likely will not work. If you want to run a 245 front stick to a 275 rear.

If you want wide tires go with a 9.5" front and 11" rear.

10"et25-28 with a 275 is a similar fitment to 11" et38-40 with a 295. I haven't seen anyone running those sizes so I am not entirely sure it would work.

Ok thanks. i saw someone with a e90 335i running 245/295 but he shaved his fenders which I don't really wanna do and with 245/275 will I rub?

With setup will I have to shave my fenders and will I rub?

With any aggressive setup you'll need to roll or shave the rear fenders.

Depends what tire brand you go with. A 245 front is close. Usually Hankook/Falken Tires will be okay. Michelin tires usually run wide.

295s are way wider than we typically recommend. 265s or 275s in the rear are going to be a much easier fit!

Right now I'm running 245/30/20 in front and 285/25/20 in rear Nitto Invo's. Very minor rubbing in rear with full load if I hit a big dip. No rubbing with just 2 passengers. Dropped on V3's and there is actually a decent amount of clearance in the rear. Front doesn't rub or hit, but it does rub the fender liner a little bit during turns - no noise but I see the marks.

Rear tires are about done, so getting 295's to replace them because there looks to be more than enough room. I'm going to roll the fenders a little more just in case - they were done by previous owner and aren't as flat as I think they can be. Fronts I'm going to stick w/ 245 since clearance is much tighter.

9" and 10.5" but I have no idea of offsets. They're Forged 1's and the previous owner didn't know offsets either, since they're custom basically he just told them he had an E92 and they built wheels that fit. I've never gotten around to measuring offsets, will do this at some point.

Not a great pic, but this is w/ a 285 so there's still plenty of room to put a 295 on there and maybe even a 5mm spacer if I roll the fender a bit more. That's without rubbing and this is at the current fender to ground height of 24.25".

Just curious if you're lowered beyond stock?

As an update, 295/25/20 V12 's are on. I thought they'd only be slightly bigger than the Nitto Invos, But they are actually quite a bit bigger. Took the 5mm spacer I was running with Nittos off but it still rubbed like crazy. So I had to roll the fenders a lot more, especially by the bumper junction. It's probably rolled as far as it will go, but the rubbing is gone.

So 295 can fit on E92 without extensive work. Camber is at -1.9. I think this is about as big as it can go though. There is no extra shock clearance so I'd have to run a lot of camber to get a bigger tire in there.

295/25/20 V12's on KW V3. 24.25" fender to ground height. Rubs on the felt on bigger dips with a passenger. Not much, just once in a while. Hard to tell from the angle, but the rim is basically flush w/ the fender. Tried putting the 5mm spacer back on after rolling/pulling the fenders some more and it rubbed like crazy, so I removed it again.
