I can help you decide. What are your driving habits like? Are these strictly for a summer setup? Any track or spirited driving? Any performance mods to your 335i?

strictly summer setup
drive spiritedly once in a while
will go to the track a couple times perhaps

mods will be full bolt ons (dci/jb4/AA intercooler with cp -e charge pipe, macht schnell downpipes)

i run nitto nt05's on my twin turbo'd srt8 jeep and they work very well however with the amount of driving i will do with the bmw id like something that lasts longer.

I have the cont DW and liked them in rainy FL and on spirited driving when they were new. Rears lasted 25k but i like to stomp on it. Fronts are great.
I have had a not perfect balance issue from them and i have heard this coming from others.

You cant go wrong with Michelins but they are more pricey.

I have heard from others they like the Hancook V12s. I am in need of new rears and having the same debate myself. Ready to hear what others say.

I have the Hankooks and I'm happy with them. The Michelins are probably the better tire but it just depends if it's worth the extra money to you.

appreciate the insight thus far, was looking towards the michelins as well but sometimes theres a tire that just works so to speak for a vehicle.

for the jeep guys, the nitto nt05 is a great tire for them

Of the tires you listed, PSS are the best followed by DW.

Another top choice to consider would be the Bridgestone S04 Pole Position. This tire fits right in between the Michelin Pilot Super Sport and Continental Extreme Contact DW in regards to handling and ride. A nice compromise between the two at a good price point in most sizes.

I run Falken Azenis 722 is a great tire.
I'm running 235/35-19 and 275/30-19 on 8.5 and 9.5.
Pre-LCi with et33 Forgestars.

I'm running the same staggered setup.
I would recommend the Michelins, awesome tires.
They are a little pricey but totally worth it.

I just put a set of PSSs in the same sizes on my 335is and have had the Hankooks and have driven on the Conti's as well.

Hankooks (EVO 1) are a decent tire for the money (and I bought mine when they were about $150 less than now), but they were lazy in their steering response due to soft sidewall. I had to bump up the tire pressures to get anywhere near close to the steering I wanted and they still lacked. Would not buy again solely for that reason. That seemed to last well and ride on the softer side.

The Conti's perform well all around and would have been my next choice after the PSSs to save some money. They held up well on the track and provided good grip and predictable response and steering feedback. Ride is on the firmer side.

My first few miles with the PSSs are like a dream come true. They have great steering response and feedback is enhanced and they ride wonderfully smooth - not to firm, not to soft. I've seen these perform superbly at the track with both excellent grip and wear, but haven't driven them on the track yet myself.

I have the DW tires on my summer set up. After last year's first summer, they ran fine and I was pleased with them. Didn't make it to the track last year, but hope to this year and see how they do there.

After posting a similar thread I ended up with Michelin AS3's. They're an all season tire but wouldn't really know it. Then again I've never had the PSS
s not pushed my current tires to their limits. I am satisfied with what I have though. I was looking at a lot of the same tires you are as well.
