Fitment help - BBS SR & Tires

I have an 08 328i non-sport suspension e90 with the crap 16" wheels.

Looking at picking these up 18x8 BBS SR wheels

And probably some 225/40-18 in one of the following (no particular order):
Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3
Hankook Ventus V12
General G-MAX AS03 tires
Continental ExtremeContact DW

I haven't decided yet and totally welcome suggestions. I live in NorCal so it's mostly dry (all the time these days) so I don't really care about wet/snow traction too much.

Wondering how the fitment will be like just slapping them on or what size spacers you'd run. I just want a simple setup, no rubbing, no problems.

Thanks!

They should fit easily since they aren't that wide, but what are the offsets? The general gmax's are worthless in the snow you are better off with the Hankooks or the Michelins.

Thanks. Yeah I don't live where there's snow at all, NorCal as I said, Bay Area as my location shows. I was leaning more towards the Hankook or Michelin anyhow though.

Offset on those are 32mm. Its right in the link that's in my post.

Didn't notice the link. You can use a 10mm spacer in the front and 20mm in the rear.

yeah I think I like them…but I've also been a fan of the VMR V710 and AG M310 of course. In retrospect the BBS's may have a more open look than I want.

I'm just not sure yet. I've got some time to decide on this and I will definitely visit some local shops and check out things in person.

I know there's a place 5 minutes from my house that sells both the VMR V710 and AG M310 so I can at least start there.

The Avant Gardes are better than the VMR's and the same price. Avant Garde is low pressure cast and vmr is gravity cast with the exception of a few of their more high end wheels.

There is a place locally that sells both wheels so I'm going to check them out in person.I thought I had read VMR is low pressure cast too.

I know that BBS ones I posted about originally are low pressure too.
