V701 OUT OF STOCK everywhere?!
So, We wanted to get some Gunmetal V701's for our E90. Staggered 18's
I was dealing with Kevin @ EAS, who is a great guy, but was informed that these were out of stock back in November, I got back in touch today with him. Still out of stock. I called VMR, No stock, and NO ETA on when stock will arrive. I havent tried Bimmian, or Mod Bargains, which say they have them in stock... The question is. Does ANYONE know when these will be back in stock ever, or if they are going to Discontinue them? And has anyone dealt with this before with VMR? They offered me Silver 701's, which they have in stock, but Id have to pay to have them coated to Gun Metal... |

I dunno if they will have the v701s but its worth a shot. I got my supersilver v703s from Xstetic Motorsports. Gave me a pretty hefty e90post member discount as well and had top notch customer service

VMR popular wheels are always out of stock. Learned that years ago when I had a VW. Get them when the batches first arrive from production or get them used. The ones nobody wants stay in stock forever lol

I asked my shop for V701's in gunmetal in Feb 2013, and they were unable to get it. They still have been unable to get it... I really liked the 701's and was impatient. Also, my car's color already being dark, I think the hyper silvers look very good because of the contrast. Though I still wonder from time to time what the gunmetal would look like. VMR is an approved sponsor on here and maybe they can chime in. GM is hard to come by in 701's.

Buy my 701s and get them coated. I sanded out a couple of curb rash areas, no bends, no cracks Had them on for about one year. I'm switching to Advan RS'. Let's make a deal

They've been out of stock for a while in gunmetal. I actually ordered a hyper silver set from mod bargains and had them powder coat it gunmetal. Took about 1 month.

BTW...just thought of something. They are standard offsets for LCI so not certain if they will work. 18x8.5 ET 35 18x9.5 ET 45 <

I have an 'i'. Maybe someone can chime in regarding the ET45. you will need a 10mm spacer, if your rear is ET 35. I dont know how much room you have between the wheel and fender.

I corrected my statement. I think you need a 10 mm spacer to make up the difference in offset. You can still run your new tires if they are 18's. lmk

BTW...in case you need paint for the sanded wheel. I picked up hyper silver duplicolor paint (NEW) for my extra wheel. Dont know how it will match but I'm going to try it out.
