e90 LCI Optimal Offets for DD?
I am curious to know what people are running in terms of optimal offets for a dd that is looking for a clean, flush look? My fenders are rolled in the rear and I am lowered on the Bilstein B12 suspension, so slightly lower than sport suspension.

E90 LCI here. H&R sport springs. 19x8.5 ET 35 front. 19x9.5 ET 35 rear. Not rolled fenders. It's about as close as you want, the rear has a pinky space but doesn't rub. With rolled fenders could easily go a few more MM but don't listen to the guy above with ET20 front and ET28 rear that will give you the mexi-flush look that's a big NO NO. I would say ET32 front and rear with good rolled fenders on the same size rim as me. The rim should NEVER stick past the body it looks so ghetto.
ET 28 in the rear would stick the rim out 8 more MM. Are you shitting me? Shit like this below looks retarded and the owners that do so should be shot. |

I'm on the sport suspension and I ran Michelin PSS 235 18x8.5 et20 front and Michelin PSS 265 18x9.5 et23 rear with my rear fenders rolled a bit. The rear rubbed on any bump and whenever I had passengers in the back seat. I hated it. I'm going to try et30 in the rear this summer which I think should work.

Here is my current setup. I am running Michelin PSS.... Front 19 x 8.5 et35 235/35 Rear 19 x 9.5 et30 265/30 Based on your info, my rear should not be touched as I only have 2 mm. Could I run a 5 mm spacer in the rear or am I pushing it? I have already had to roll my rear venders because the Michelin PSS are a bigger tire than other brands in the same size I find. With respect to the front, what do I need to add in terms of a spacer? Could a 10mm spacer work? Thanks,

I'm strictly speaking on a rear 19x9.5.. There's NO way on an LCI car ET22 fits without sticking out, sorry because LCI already has +8 over non LCI. I'm ET35 in the rear and it's less than 5mm from having to do major fender work. That would be like having ET14 on an non LCI car. Sorry not happening don't let some poor kid order the wrong rims. ET35 the the bare limit on stock fenders with 19x9.5 and 265 tires. I could see ET30 with rolled fenders. ET22? Get out of here with the mexiflush/hellaflush, get a honda if you want to do that.

With respect to my setup, what would you add in terms of spacers? Would you add 12mm upfront and 5mm in the back? Thanks, D

Nobody wants sunk in rims but the whole idea of "hellaflush" should be saved for teenagers with the hot hatches and japanese tuner cars. It's our job to keep things classy. If you want to be .5 in off the ground with camber that looks like someone stepped on your car, everyone is entitled to do whatever they want but it quite frankly looks retarded on a BMW. It's like going to a fancy event wearing gucci sneakers, jeans half falling off and a baseball hat. Sure, your outfit might have cost you $1200 but you still look like a garish idiot when everyone else is wearing dress shoes and blazers. Rims are only a percentage of the style of a car. They should look good but blend in and compliment the lines of the automobile, not be a focal point.

I will leave my rears alone with an et30 on 265/30 x 9.5. My rear fenders are rolled and the fit is perfect.
What is the ideal et for the front? I am currently at et35 and it does look a little sunken relative to the back. Would adding a 5mm or 10mm be recommended? |

I got away with a 15mm spacer up front to go to et20 on an 8.5 inch rim, but I was also on sport suspension. I think 10-12mm will fit no problem.
