Aftermarket Sirius + Factory Roof Antenna

I'm planning on adding an aftermarket Sirius radio. Is there any way to leverage the OEM antenna "FIN" on the roof? Was hoping that I could connect using some sort of adapter cable.

Don't believe there is a way - or people would be buying $99 recievers instead of the $400 OEM.

Also I believe any non BMW electric mods void the warranty.
