Power Steering Fluid

Can the power steering fluid level in the F10 M5 be checked?

I do see the fluid reservoir but its not the usual ones with a twist cap. It looks like if I were to twist it off, fluids may come out or something. Just don't want to mess it up because it dosn't look user serviceable.
