Spacesaver wheel.

Right, runflats now gone, have installed Goodyear eagle f1.s on my summer wheels which are now hung up in my garage. Thoughts turned to a spacesaver so I rang maindealer and ouch £277. So I thought I would try the internet Ebay etc. Quite a few traders are selling steel wheels and stating they are OK for e92 and e93. This does not appear to be true. The maindealer will only offer a 17in alloy wheel. Anybody else know anything different?

Thanks for your reply. What size is your spacesaver and thickness of spacer?

No difference on the E9x

There was (a couple of days ago) an E60 space saver kit with jack etc for sale over on BMWLand that looked a reasonable price

E60 space savers are 17" and will fit all E9x without spacers etc (it's what I have - and they do fit over 335 brakes)

I could not find the correct space saver to fit my 330d M sport on eBay so I purchased a wheel from the stealers. However I saved myself £48.00 by purchasing just the rim and then purchased the exact tyre from a tyre fitters! Just a thought for you!!
