No but I am very tempted, guy on piston heads has just got £3k off one, so the rot has set in, ie poor residuals but great for PCP

Hmmm it is more appealing than an M135i, better looking and faster! Although quite a bit more expensive.

But the interior looks very cheap and tacky imo!

And when the M235i comes out in a few weeks there would be no competition for me, yea it's half a sec slower to 60 but looks much better, and far superior interior!

Although if you absolutely want a hatch, the A45 seems to be the daddy right now, and until the M1 (possibly) comes out!

The CLA 45 AMG is far more better looking and has the exact same performance. Worth the extra money in my opinion!

I love BMWs so have no objectivity here, but would much rather have a M135i!

Straight Six character everytime, and a sweet RWD chassis. You could tune it easily to match the A45 power output, add in a Quaife LSD and other than a traffic light drag race it would be a match! And it would be cheaper too.

Yes, I've driven one and it is very good indeed. Can't believe it is much shy of 10 seconds flat to 100 and in my opinion the ride & handling balance was pretty much spot on riding on the 18" wheels I tried. The front seats are also as good as I've tried on a road car, really holding you in place through the corners, yet being very comfortable also.

I suspect I would have ordered one had it not been for the awful PCP deals around at the time - the best they could do was £4k down and c.£700 per month, which was more than the dealer was wanting for a C63 at the time...

Same here, IMO the 135 looks better from all but the front and even there its a close call.

Big question is I know they are completely different cars but how dis it compare to your 335d?

Fast but an awful ride IMO! Had it for half a day and that was enough. Took out the 135i the following day and it was 100 times better

Think that's the Golf R Evo, not the regular R thats a lot of power from a 2.0L! For me the M135i is just a thorn in the side of the hot hatches now and I would struggle to look past it

This is some spiel about the regular R

Buy a 335d, enjoy the economy when you need it, performance when you want it and comfort at all times. Ithought of a CLA but preferred the finish in the F30. I imagine the CLA ride will be harsh too.

Merc's are always great for PCP and lease deals, AMG's are no exception. Not sure why anyone would ever buy one for cash!

The CLA is a mean looking car but it does make me laugh when you normally see the 220 badge on the back. All looks and no go.

I have and I hated it.
The ride was diabolical, the gearshifts weird and it was a thirsty b!tch.
Looked ok, though.

I'd heard it wasnt too comfortable. Does it come with adjustable/adaptive suspension? Although that wont help if the springs are too hard in the first place.

CLA Pish! Get an M235i! Much nicer looking, RWD fun, Better economy, BMW straight six, best gearbox on offer. Just the better car!

Or if you must have 4WD get a 330dx/ 335dx I would chose either over the Merc.

only my bias opinion!
