Anyone else notice the M3 doesn't have the Shadowline trim installed....definitely needs it.
M4 may not have it as well, but harder to tell

Both look nice, even though I still prefer the M3 (but it's maybe because I'm kind of sick of the yellow color). The Silverstone interior really looks sexy, would be my choice, but I'm afraid of the maintain.

Yeah I know what you mean about the swirls...and I hate swirls!!! But I still prefer shadow line trim to flat or chrome

Thanks a lot!
This makes me like the m3 even more. Also I'm glad this car had extended and not full leather so we could see what it looks like...The extended looks great, and unless the prices are almost the same, I'm sticking with extended. Great vid! |

It's noticeable, but its value depends on how important a leather covered dash and glove box is to you. It looks really nice, but I've gone more than a decade of BMW ownership without it, so I'll likely pass again. Ya never know though. I've always opted for the 19" wheel option on my M3's, but I hate the current wheels and will be keeping the wheels currently on my 335i. That'll free up some money to 'splurge' on something that I wouldn't normally spec on my cars. LED's and/or full leather are now considerations.

As I want to have a white interior this time (sick of fox red), I am going to go for the blue with the same combination as what they have in detroit. I don't think it is as bad as everyone claims it to be. I'd love a black car but detailing that and keeping it scratch free would be a nightmare. There is no other color that is going to with the white interior unfortunately. I wish they had a different blue like le mans or deep sea, but it is what it is.

Personally I quite like the light blue. But I had a Taurus station wagon in a light blue - my late wife's car - and when I drove it, all my friends teased me by saying I was driving a soccer mom's car! LOL. Now an M3 in YMB would not likely be called a soccer mom's car. However, my friends have traumatized me and now I would need a mid colour blue more like the Estoril Blue that is my current ride.
I probably won't change out rides until the 2017 model year so that gives time for more colours to be released and a refresh. |
