Styling suggestions for my Alpine White 335i LCI E90

I've had my E90 335i for just over a week or so now and have made a few subtle changes but was after advice on what to go for next.

So far I have:

- Refurbished my wheels in Anthracite, but may redo them in Smoked Chrome.

- Fitted a carbon skinned rear spoiler

- Fitted genuine black front grilles

So as it stands now:

So next I was planning on:

- 359 wheels (I'll keep the existing 18's as Winters)
- H&R springs
- Carbon front splitter, mirror caps and possibly rear diffuser/valance
- Angel Eye upgrade (40W CREE bulbs which we use)
- Full front end respray to remove few stone chips and marks, then install self healing Paint Protection Film
- Possible roof wrap in gloss black or gloss carbon print?

Do you think that'd be carbon overload and ruin the subtle look of the car?

What else would you do? Do the 359's suit the saloon bodyshop? (I love them on E92's).

Any input or suggestions most welcome

Russ.

Possible subtle headlight tint too and carbon style BMW badges on the wheels and front/rear of the car?

Lol fair enough, I'm not sure on it yet - does look a bit 'stuck on' doesn't it? No biggy to whip it back off

the mod that will bring out the biggest smile on your face would be a cobb/jb4 tune

not feeling love for the rear spoiler mate (swap for a performance spoiler), other than that the car looks tidy

The 359 ZCP are dog's dangles mate, they would suit ur car just fine, the OEM wheels might be a tight fit, you might have to roll the wheel arches but reps should fit just fine

Yeah the genuine spoiler was about £350 I think and this was £120 so thought I'd give it a try. I think I'll just get all of the genuine bits as I'm a picky bugger so it's the only way I'll be happy anyway. What's the views on the front splitter pieces (genuine ones). I can't find many images of them fitted to an E90

Remap will come soon too.

Maybe shade darker tints on the rear too? I can put 20% over the factory tint to darken it a little

Are the reps from CMW of a good quality? I don't mind getting genuines but after seeing how many genuine 18/19's we get through as cracked, I'm not sure I have much faith in them.

Front splitters look okay, but my preferred mod on an E90 would be an M3 front bumper, quite a few members here have done that, it's pretty cheap too, ~ £250 delivered painted, good fit too

A performance Diffuser is a great mod too, makes the rear end a lot more aggressive

******** make great quality reps, you can't go wrong with them, they've got a special offer on the 359's at the mo, get in touch with Chris, have you seen the Quantum S1's that they've just brought out ? Looks great, a good alternative to the 359's which IMHO are a bit common.

A couple of cosmetic mods worthy of mentioning
- Cyba exhaust tips
- Cyba scoops

Why not coilovers over HR Springs?

Thank you Rudz, really appreciate your help and advice, I'll have a look around at those

Where's best to view M3 bumpers on an E90 please? Can you think of any stand out examples please?

I've not seen the Q S1's, but I'll have a look now on their FB page.

Thanks again,
Russ.

Thank you

It's our own new car after changing from our Golf Ed30. It always amazes me how far our FB page reaches out! I got spotted by someone in a supermarket the other day who seemed to know more about me than I do!

Sorry was a bit drunk last night, could have been a bit more tactful, it's such a beautiful car & I'm just not feeling the carbon I'm afraid! Maybe If it was painted it would look perfect!

Merry Christmas!

WOW! Super clean!

As said not really feeling that spoiler, I think the M3 spoiler would look so much more in place ------> Link

Springs are a must but be careful you don't sacrifice how comfortable the car is, same applies to 19" wheels (this is personal opinion).

Tints are always a win, not too dark though imo.

If you go for a roof wrap considering doing the wing mirrors at the same time?

I'd definitely wrap the wing mirrors at the same time - the only thing putting me off doing the roof is the sunroof. I can just change it if I don't like it anyway.

I'll take a look at the Duke Dynamic Rear Diffuser

Thanks all

OEM performance parts is the way to go. Please do not use M3 replica bumper. Give cheap look on a decent car, unless its M3 car.
