Some LCI rear light Help please!

Hi guys...

Finally bought myself some LCI rear lights!!

Only thing is, I need some help from anyonbe who has done the conversion or anyone with some knowledge on it.

I've ordered the 4 oem lights, but I'm yet to order the harness etc.

Do I need to order the harness only to fit these?

I know without coding there will be flickering at start up and an error on the dash as far as I'm aware? But is there anything else needed? I've read something about an FRM3 module?

Any help is much appreciated guys!

Put them on with the harness and you're good to go. It only flickers on start up ( when light check runs)

i have 05/08 build and all i need was coding done. ask makkan to check for you if you send him your vin number.

p.s

Make sure you push the light in very hard then bolt it back on, i found the lci ones are a tad smaller , so i hard to push them very hard and bolt them on very hard to leave no gaps.

you only need one set of harness as the bootlid lights are the same connection.

No need for FRM3 as far as you get it coded.

PS: Technical section is for these type of questions.

Good stuff, will get the harness ordered up then. Any recommendations of where to get it for the best price?

PS: Don't think I've ever ventured into the technical section before haha

I couldn't find one on bmminiparts, or even eBay for that matter!

Think I read before that they're around £40 from the dealer, does that sound about right? I'll have to call and see.

Do you just make a new post asking for a quote? What sort of price is it?
Yeah.

I paid about £32 delivered IIRC.

Cool, put a post up for a quote on that forum so I'll see if I get the same sort of price back.
