Paint Correction the other day on my Friends Subaru!
Hi all,
Just a few photos of a friends Subaru Impreza wrx sti uk. The paintwork was very very swirled, the extent of this doesnt show cleary in the images, it was one of the worst i have seen. The paint is a very nice metallic black with a beautiful depth to it, with a gold pigment to it, which, before the correction, you could not see at all. So here are in the progress images: Door swirls: Door swirls and completed front wing( excuse the dust on the front wing) Wing finished up untill the light(again excuse the dust) Will update with the complete images of the overall car! |

Combination of a DA polisher and a rotary polisher with a range or pad sizes and density!
The car wash washed with meguirs gold class shampoo! Then Clayed with I think meguirs clay but I do have bilt hamber too so could be either! Washed again, then towel dried! I started on an area with the sonus 3 stage system! Sfx1, sfx2 and sxf3. I started with number 2 as this usually gives good results but the swirls were to bad, so I started on sfx1! Once corrected, I polished finally with autoglym super resin polish! Then a final coat of collinite 476s super durable wax (for winter) Not my usual combination of products, but works really well together! |
