Lots of errors after upgrading VGSG and DSC modules
I updated VGSG and then DXC90 was updated from #6777423 to the "update" #6783295.
After that, dash trowed errors that AWD/DSC/ABS etc. are malfunctioning (and I suppose they are off and I have RWD without ABS). I tried to calibrate steering, delete errors (in INPA), but errors would come back after I run the car. INPA error log is attached. Right now I have few ideas, don't know are they good or not: 1. VGSG shows that it's not coded and not calibrated. I have no idea how to perform it, any suggestions are welcomed! 2. Maybe I should upgrade engine/tranny ecus? 3. Could some hardware crap out after firmware change? Like fuses blown or in a worst case XI actuator is actually malfunctioning? If nothing works out, how much do you think the dealer would charge for the ECUs firmware upgrade? I really need my AWD back - it's pretty slippery right now =) |

After 2 days of struggling I finally tackled the problem - the fix was very simple. After updating firmware in WinKFP apparently it was NECESSARY to run NCSEXPER to get coding/calibration done. Just read VGSG module, open FSW_PSW.TRC - save it in .MAN and code it back to module - there are few noises from under the car and camshaft gets coded/calibrated. Then Clear all errors in INPA and voila - back to AWD!
