**********s.....SUCKS... DONT use them
ok after changing my first post because mod bargains said they would take care of it.................................well i guess not .
on 9-17-07 405.24 was chanrged over the phone to my atm mastercard. i ordered smoked over lays. lowering springs.front plainted reflecters. about a week later i recived the overlays but nothin else. no tracking info nada on my other items. after talking over the phone to tara and emialing back and fourth she finally sent me a tracking number for my springs and told me my painted reflecters where on back order. another week goes by..................nothin........... finally i called **********s and was transfered to ron i belive and he told me the springs had been shipped to my house and i had refused the shipping 3 times so ups sent them back to **********s. ok thats fine consdering i never got anything.**********s told me it was my fault i wasent home to accept the package 3 times and if i still wanted it i would have to pay for shipping again because this and that and that whatever.... so after i looked at this tracking number which was provided to my email i noticed something. 1z15708w0377018401 http://wwwapps.ups.com/WebTracking/summary it that lonk doesnt work then check it out on the ups web site. right there in the shipping info it says ANAHEIM, CA, US 09/21/2007 10:26 P.M. DEPARTURE SCAN 09/21/2007 8:06 P.M. THE RECEIVER DID NOT WANT THE ORDER AND REFUSED THIS DELIVERY / RETURNED TO SHIPPER 09/21/2007 2:32 P.M. THE RECEIVER DID NOT WANT THE ORDER AND REFUSED THIS DELIVERY 09/21/2007 12:51 A.M. ARRIVAL SCAN ok thats all good and great but there is 1 big prob with all this and even ron admitted it....... i dont live in ANAHEIM,ca or do i even live in so cal period.i live in the bay area. my billing my shipping everything i provided was to my add in concord ca. but yet it wasent sent there. of course someone denied shipment in anaheim because they didnt order anything. so after ron admitted the mistake and said he would talk to ups and get everyhting worked out and call me back. at this point i told him to cancel the rest of my order. then i spoke to tara and also told he to cancel my order. told i looked at my bank statments and noticed that i was only credited 309.53 on 10-4-07. which means for a 52.95 item with 7 dollar shipping i was charged 95.71 total. wow great math huh? i know im bitching about like 40 dollars but ive emailed them plenty of times. ive called and asked someone to call me back plenty of times and noone responded all i have to say is dont buy anything from these guys. the smoke overlays i had on my car for like 3 days turned out to be crap. they faded fast. did not fit. needed alot of modding. so fyi save ur 60 dollars. and no even if u credit my atm card 100 dollars i will not change or tell the admin to delete this.... after eveything ive been doing to contact u not once has **********s dared to call me back..... thanks for nothin p.s. i can show u my bank statements. email log phone log. if anyone at mod bargains or any admin needs me to provide any info pm me. |

Nice thread title that I have to reply to on a Sunday afternoon(my wishful day off) ... not like we care about customer service or anything.
As to what has transpired we talked about it over the phone, at first you were under assumption that we didnt ship out anything - and we had tracking numbers - which showed that there was a refusal of delivery. Then you pointed out that some how UPS screwed up sent it to a southern california address that was similar - the resident in that place has refused it. I confirmed it with you, it was obviously a UPS mistake. I immediatly told Customer service rep (Tara) to credit your account (I requested that we omit the shipping until I could get UPS to own up with a chargeback/you agreed to this). You were refunded the two price of the springs - and taxes which were paid on it, and the price of the reflector/shipping/taxes. I believe you are due $30 which should have been credit back to you, I have had no emails or phone calls from you. Nor have the Customer Service reps notified me of anything - so first thing monday morning(I'll be there only in morning for a short while, I am packing right now for SEMA) give me a call - ask to be transferred to me if you dont get me - I will follow up on emails that could have been sent to from you. I would like to see if no one has followed up with you. Again going about making threads like this are really not a great way to get our attention - If this board really thinks we're out to steal peoples money that is pretty sad, we run a professional business, we mod our cars as well and are enthusiasts just like you, we're out there to save you guys money and do the best job we can in informing and servicing you guys. As to the claim that it takes us forever('1000 years') to answer our emails - I think our turn around is on average better then 24 hours - certain emails are harder to respond to then others cause they may require a lot more research or through answers. I think most people can attest to the fact that we are obsessed with our customer service, and we do our best to answer all questions/emails/etc. Last edited by Ron@Modbargains; 10-28-2007 at 07:49 PM.. |

I've ordered from them on 4 seperate occassions (overlays, grilles, springs, emblems), no problems to reports as well, all goods were received in good shape and in good time and no funny play on charges. I would buy from them again with confidence.

I have had no significant problems with **********s, and I have used them many times. They always get back with you, and ordering from their website is very easy.

I like to think of companies as **********s as people......they can't be perfect all the time they can only do there best. I mean they try to give us the best deals of stuff and people like the op have to bitch about 40bucks when he could of easily emailed or called them.

Some people think that just because they're an online store, you can send them an email at 2AM on a Saturday morning and they'll reply within the hour. Give me a break. Every store has NORMAL operating hours..PS Ron, you got PM.

I've done business with **********s for the RE Ikon, and everything went smoothly, IMO. The shipping took unusually long, but I talked it over with Ron, and he did things really quick. He got Tara to give me an update quick, and even though there were personal problems here and there, the transaction with **********s has been smooth, im sorry to hear about your incident. Seems like a misunderstanding.
