How long do your tyres last?

I replaced the rears on my 335d 18 months ago, standard Bridgestone run flat 19's. in 13k miles, one is at 3mm and the other below 2mm! Does that sound right? I'm only a hoon 20% of the time.

My 320d's have done 22k miles and are still well over 5mm. I am fairly astonished tbh.

Not sure how they are going to last on the new 335d....

Depends on how often you drive and your style of driving really I suppose. I have a set for winters and a summer set up so can't really say much but 18 months sounds about a good time to change given tread.

depends on the tyre compound aswell. Bridgstomes, perelli and alk the other high end makes I dont rate for grip or wear tbh. Parada spec2 or other mid range tyres grip better in wet and dry and dont seem to scrub down.

I have nangkang ns2's on my car. People wouod assume they are crao because of price........but out of re050a potenzas, p zero rosso and bridgestone contact3's. They are the only tyre than can put my 400+bhp on the floor. Iv done 6k so far and they are still at 6.5mm all round.

That's awful mileage if you are a normal driver. Normal driving should see double that.

It's amazing how much opinions can vary, but Nankangs?

I thought they were very poor and the reviews and figures in official tests often back that up.

My ns2's are the only tyre iv found that can hold my power and actually lasy. An ns2 was specifically made for track enthusiasts...........apparently (use that very loosely)

Its like yokahoma tyres. Known as shit. Yet a parada soec 2 will out shine most tyres on the market, same a a toyo t1r. I dont do over priced ditch finder. Till I got my p zero nero off the front of my car. I was under the imoression 335i's had terrible understeer.

Similar to Apl320d above... I've done almost 22k and I've got about 4mm on the rears and 5mm on the fronts. Hoping to get near to 30k out of them.

I'm aware this doesn't accurately reflect the wear seen on a 335d though.

A 320d barely spins with tc of in the wet. I had one as a courtesy car when my car had some recal work done and it was gutless. I would hope a 320d would get good milesge.

335d. My last set of rears lasted 10k and were completely bold. Goodyear Asymmetric 2.

Fronts still look brand new.

Have now switched to Falken 453 on the rears to see how they perform.

Its not slow

My work van is slow, 65bhp n/a 1.9 diesel

The 320d is no supercar but around 8s to 60 its certainly not gutless. Obviously tyres will last longer, its mostly down to how you drive it. I can burn a set of fronts in my work van in 8k! Mainly because its lit round the bends to make up for lack of grunt on the straights!

For driving normally 20k is possible with quality tyres. It does seem that runflats do tend to last a bit longer.

I bought my car at 27k and the rears were still original. They still had tread left too, but were heavily worn on the inner edge.

20k is easily achievable for a normal driver. A bit of blasting and the daily commute.

To be into just a few thousand miles, your either doing donuts or more than likely needlessly spinning up the inside wheel being heavy footed. Both of which are a bit pointless.

On my 330d:

Kumho KU39 (rear) 12k to the wear bars.
Falken FK452 (rear) 10k to the wear bars.
Goodyear F1 Assy 2 (rear) 12k and still on 3-4mm, so probably 15k when I change them next year,
