Sending a battery via courier...
Anyone know any companies that will do it?!
Tried them all but apparently it's a restricted item along with AK47's! Basically company I bought it from sent me the wrong one and want me to arrange the return. Kicked off this evening and sent a mail telling them to sort it but want to get an idea if there is a company if the worse comes to the worse. It was sent by DPD and seems rules are different for companies to private individuals. Thanks in advance!! |

Sounds like the company are trying it on. If you don't get any joy on here get over to the forums on moneysavingexpert as there are loads of consumer champions over there. Depending on how you bought / purchased it there may be ways you can get it sorted, credit card dispute / distance selling regs etc. Just speculating, but if they've sent the wrong item it's surely their job to arrange collection. Especially if its something you can't post back!
Good luck!

Who is the company. Name and shame then. And change the thread name to include thier company name. Then send them the link to the thread. They'll see they ate being frowned upon amd maybe get it sorted for you.

Excuse me?!? They sent you the wrong one and they want you to sort out the return?
Yup, distance selling regs apply or as mentioned, you're returning a "car part", but you shouldn't have to pay... |
