What to get next???!
Hi guys had my e90 pre-lci 330d for about 7/8 months now and fancy a change I get bored way to quickly, so the options are a e90lci/e92/e93, 330/335d or a 135i coupe really stuck on what to go for I'm only 22 so m3 would be a dream but not paying silly money for insurance. These cars a still relatively cheap on insurance compared to amg/m3's etc.
Have been thinking about other cars but really love beemers and just the way they feel, drive and look just fancy something abit newer or faster, I no a lot people have different views so just wanted to hear a few different opponions. Thanks |

Hi mate, I'm the same, get bored very easily, find the E92 a lot nicer place to be an a lot more pleasing to the eye than the 'loon variant. Maybe a nice E92 / E93 320d could tempt you? OK not got the torque or smoothness of the 330d your used to but the 184bhp unit's very livley & with an avarage of 60.1 MPG its very cheap to run! I've come from a long line of E46 325/330 petrol coupe's and i don't feel like i'm missing out power wise at all!

Get yourself an M135i before you find yourself In a position where you can't due to it being too small..... Otherwise an E92 330d is a belter I love mine's had it two years now getting 42mpg round the houses.

I could POTENTIALLY be putting my e92 335D up for sale. Feel free to go through my build threads ... Only thing I'd take out is my sounds, the m3 seats and aftermarket wheels.. It'll come with OEM bmw wheels.
Also, it's done just under 60k, full bmwsh, idrive etc. I bought it last august (2012) and it was previously owned by BMW as a show car. Very few stone chips (I'm anal that way and have had the front bumper fully re sprayed twice in about 3 months lol).. Recently been full detailed and what not... Really been cared for... I'm sure many people will vouch for that here... Anyways still looking at my options but if you're interested to know more let me know... Drop me a pm. it hasn't missed a beat and hasn't needed much... I've put a new batter in recently, big service done few thousand miles ago and what have you. I think I may put up a for sale thread soon.... Heart breaking I know... The amount of care and money I've put on it modifying it... but possibly looking for something else... AMG! |

M135i is good. 130i's are good, 135i's are good. Insurance is the big thing for you, so that will probably heavily influence the decision.
TBH I could manage with a 1 series, however they aren't specced as well as the 3's usually hence getting a 3. But you do get less weight and more speed. |
