i think i would go for some part worn premiums, like Dunlop Wintersport or Conti Wintercontact's they should be attainable for about the 300£ mark.
avoid budgets, they will be horrendous in everything but snow. as said above as well, if buying part worns, you don't want any less than 5mm. |

Mine were 17", but got a set of 4 Nokian WR A3 tyres delivered for £385 from tyreleader.co.uk
Never run Nokians before but all the reviews are very positive and they do really well in the comparison tests on some reputable sites. |

Got the uniroyals ms plus 66 from camskil £350 delivered, 225-45 r17. They have decent reviews, fitted them today, I'll have to wait the cold/snow weather to see how they are.... Surely better than the summer Bridgestone ones!

In my experience, yes. HS439's in staggered 18" on my e90.

This year the Nokian WR D3 has won the Autoexpress winter tyre test, beating the previously invincible Conti winter contacts and Michelins Alpins in the process.
http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/accesso...nd-prices-2013 I just bought a set of FOUR of these for my van for £320 including steel wheels, fitted and delivered too from mytyres. They are only small though, 185/65/15, but that's still cheaper than I could buy loose premium summer rubber. |

I'm currently running 245 35 20... is there any point in me getting winter tyres for these?
Had a look and they're quite hard to get... i know most people are gonna recommend getting new alloys (winter wheels) but i simply dont have the storrage... Whats my options? Brand new set of summers to give me as much grip? All seasons? |

Right so im decided I am definitely getting a set of winters now, just don't want to get crap ones but also don't want to spend a fortune either. I thought I was decided on Falkens but the reviews I have read aren't that favourable.
