Anyone have a 435i xDrive with the Dynamic Handling Package?
I have a 435i with xDrive on order and was wondering if anyone has the Dynamic Handling Package option? Is it worth the extra $1000? I am just close to my limit on options currently have the 19" 442M Rims, M Sports Package, M Sports Brakes, Drivers Assist, Nav, Cold Wx Package and Leather of course.
Started out looking at a bare bones 335i and this is what I worked up to, lol. |

I did test drive a 435xi Sport that did not have DHP, and I had no problem with the way it drove. I am looking more for a grand touring car, and less of a canyon carver, so I was happy with the standard awd suspension. On the other hand, I would like to experience new technology that is available on these cars. So, for $1,000 more, I am now thinking about adding DHP. I like the idea of adjusting the suspension/steering along with the throttle/transmission of the cars. Along with AWD, these would be new experiences for me. I'm interested in reading more opinions as well. |

The issue with xDrive in the 435i M Sport is that the M Sport suspension is deleted (and the car isn't lowered), at least in the models that we get here in the US. I took the time to do some research prior to purchasing my 435i xDrive; some people opt for the DHP in order to alleviate the lack of M Sport suspension.
I did not get to drive a 435i xDrive with DHP so I can't tell you from first hand experience, but from what I read and investigated: if the tall stance and "normal" suspension might be an issue for you, you could be better off upgrading to, say, H&R sport springs for < $1K.
