Video: 335i with Oil/Water temps logged
So I went to Eagle's Canyon Raceway a few weeks ago with the local Corvette Club... and this is interesting 335i content because I logged my oil/water temps with the Solo DL. So you can see how the oil temp just kinda slowly creeps up, but the water temps are actually pretty stable.
This is running E30-35, with the Cobb E30 race tune, Stett Stg 2 oil cooler. Ambient temp was about 70F. Last edited by DallasBoosted; 11-22-2013 at 12:44 PM.. |

Great laps! I was thinking you'd be somewhere in the 2:02-2:04 range. How do you feel about your lines after looking back through your video? I didn't get enough laps to really work out the T7-T10 complex to my satisfaction when I was there, but seeing your vid gives me something good to work from. I'm planning to go back to ECR for the OTD on 12/14 if the weather looks good. Any plans to go back?
I'm surprised at how fast your car really is. You were hitting right around 130 on the long straight which is really impressive. I helped a buddy with a ZR1 do the data overlay on his 1:50 lap recently, and that's basically as fast as his car was going! Nice job on the overlay. The gauges that int2str created are so much better than anything that came standard with DashWare. Very cool of him to share too. I considered getting the DL, but since the COBB has such good logging, I decided to just go with the basic SOLO. Curious how many data channels the DL logs for the E92 and which ones?

Made it back out to ECR yesterday for the Toy Run. It was so cold and damp and slick in the morning, that they made us do lead follow behind an instructor for the first 3 sessions.
The sun finally poked through for the last two sessions and dried off the track a bit, but I was just being cautious and ran the stage 0 map. I ran a 2:10 on stage 0, so I decided to run stage 1 aggressive on my final session and ran a 2:08.1. Look how low my temps stayed, it's nice having 37 degree air, but the track was definitely not as grippy. Here's my best stage 0 run: Here's my new PB running stage 1 agg:
