Window Trim

Got quoted £724 from BMW to have my chrome window trim replaced to gloss/matte black. Seems crazy! i have an m-sport and was under the impression that this would have been standard trim? correct me if im wrong. anyone had their trim wrapped? if so, how does it hold up at a car wash? Also slightly off topic, is the seatbelt handover thing on the coupe a common fault with it not catching the belt ? i have had this on 2 e92 coupes now, and it hasnt lasted more then a month on each. BMW quoted me £400 for just the driver side!

Thats big monies definitely swerve the dealer & get it wrapped if you go through with anything. Car wash is fine as most guys on here would vouch for.

But I'm confused LCI E92 with chrome window trim?? Never seen that before can you put a pic up?

With seatbelt I think there is a fix on here, something to do with ironing out the belt to make it flat again so that the arm can grip nicely. Run a search & see what happens

I believe you can request to have the chrome trim instead (for free).

As mentioned get it wrapped, it'll be a lot cheaper.

With regards to maintenance it'll be fine with washing, just don't use really strong TFRs.
