how long until new model..........

hey,i just wanted to know how long again till you think they will replace the 3 series with a newer model?i just wanna get a general idea.I know the facelift one comes out 2009,and they usually update after that,any idea?thanks,russell.

It is a 7 year cycle. e90 started in 06 so we are not quite midway.

Yeah 7 year cycle. E36 1992, E46 1999, E90 2006

Also, you have to adjust for the particular model you're looking for... lately sedans precede coupes, which precede convertibles, which precede the M3. So the 7 year cycle for coupes/convertibles won't come around again until 2014 in all likelihood. Which is why I plan to keep my new car for some time...

^thanks, in my country a basic 328i coupe starts at under 100k USD, i dont think i could afford that,but when the time comes,we'll see, they rape you with duties and taxes here :S

The 3 series is due for a redesign in 2012. Still a ways off...
