got my less than 3 weeks old 428 tinted at accutint yesterday. noticed a scratch on my aluminum trim on the driver door right after. looks like it's either from the razor blade they use or whoever drove the car scratched it with their ring or watch. I was very disappointed that this happened in their care.
any idea on how to repair the scratch or make it less visible? does the hexagon aluminum trim scratch that easily? they were made aware of the situation right away. I still have yet to hear from the owner to rectify the situation. |

I replaced a Burled Walnut door pull for about $70 after CCA discount. I would budget up to $100.

would it be unreasonable to ask for replacement? the more i look at it i think the scratch is so fine that it must be made with the sharp razor blade. for those of you that have the hexagon aluminum trim, does it really scratch that easily?
thanks for all your help! |

spoke to the owner. he was actually pretty cool about it saying that mistakes happen and he will take care of it no worries. I emailed him a picture and gave him my vin number as requested. I'm assuming he's gonna order the replacement. hopefully I can get it fixed soon... the anal side of me is not dealing well seeing it. but thankfully they are taking responsibility to resolve the issue.
I am sure glad to hear that it doesn't scratch that easily! |
