First post

I have ordered a F30 330d M Sport with the following:

M Sport Plus (19" M Start 403, Sun protection, headlight wash, H/K surround sound)
Heated Front Seats
Split Folding rear seats
Ext. mirrors - folding, auto dimming
Enhanced Bluetooth with USB and voice control
head restraints, rear folding
Media package - BMW Professional
Variable sports steering

As i have time to add / remove from my specification i was after some un-biased opinions, there are so many reviews for the Adaptive and VSS that are a waste of time reading as people with it say it is brilliant and people who don't say there is no need .

I am basically not sure if i need the VSS option as some people have said it makes the steering worse not better? i added it after a test drive in a 318D M Sport as coming from an E92 i found the steering light, but have no idea if VSS will fix this.

I am also not sure if i need the M Adaptive suspension either, i don't have it in the spec at the moment because i plan on keeping the car and i guess this will be the first thing to break and cost as bomb to fix? i also have no issue with the E90 or E92 M sport suspension never finding it hard or harsh so if the only thing the Adaptive does is give a better ride i have no real interest in it.

So i am after some help as i cannot find a car to test drive with VSS or adaptive, so is there anybody who has driven both around to give me an opinion? (please don't tell me it is the best thing ever just because it is on your car, i have a e92 coupe and did not add the 19" wheels and am happy to admit that the car looks much better with the bigger wheels and the handling is better IMO, but i can live with it.

DHP is the best thing ever... get it!..........or regret it..........unless you plan on getting MPS or something of the sort

Hi,

Cannot get the dhp pack in the uk. After speaking with people int the dealer I think I will remove the variable sports steering and get the adaptive suspension. Or I may not get either and possible get the HUD.

I'm really glad I have the adaptive suspension.

edit: I should add that I had the passive suspension for 10 months in my first 335i, so I've lived with both.
