Cool. The E82 looks really dated in the F22's presence.

The F22 certainly looks more modern and definitely closer to the F30/F32. Looks are important, but are also subjective - I like the F22 but I also like the E82's distinctive look, and think it has aged well over the last 6 years.
However, how it drives is what's most important (to me). I left the F30 behind and ordered an E82 because the F30 was just too soft - my hope is that the F22 will correct all the F30 issues (eps, suspension) and will drive more like the E82 than the F30. |

I must be BMWs target market because I love the cushy feeling of my F30 over the spine-crushing one of the E90 lol! However I will be back in an M-sport the next time I get a car because it looks so darn good! |

Definitely an awesome, positive evolution. It's nice to see BMW doing that again, instead of abortions like the E60. I might end up in an a used low-mile E82 though if the price is right. Both are nice cars!

They have to step it up on the 2 series if bmw wants good sale numbers. I dont believe the e82 did well here in the usa. I could be wrong but I hardly see a e82.

There is some truth to that. I think they are around, but are just not as noticeable. The design is a bit bland to catch anyone's eye. That's my guess at least. On the other hand, every time I see an e46 ZHP or e46 330ci it sends me into deep thought, where feelings of regret and contemplation take over and I wonder whether or not it is still too late to go back and relive one of my best bimmer days ever. A clean e46 ZHP or e46 sport does it for me every time. Sigh ... I digress. |

That said, I love my 128i and small coupes in general so here's hoping BMW continues to make these kinds of cars, even if they aren't the most profitable. |
