BMW did the right thing

So my driver side headlight cracked for no reason, never hit anything. Upon further research what happened to my headlight was "crazing" I personally believe it happened because of too much exposure to the sun (i worked at the beach this summer, and my car was out in the sun 6 days a week)

At first the dealer refused to warranty the damage, but after moving up the claim to BMW N.A. they agreed to replace the headlight under warranty. Not sure if they agreed as a courtesy or if in fact the protection on my headlight was subpar and resulted in the cracking.

If anybody out there has this same issue, maybe this is a defect on our headlights. Don't stop fighting if this happens to you!

Holy shit! That's definitely a defect. Glad they did right by you!
