Here Im, 6:30am drinking a large Coffee Caramel Late at Panera, studying Lync Server 2013 (fun stuff, the book has about 900 pages of technical stuff) and in between I already visit BimmerPost and bought couple stuff from www.chemicalguys.com that I saw on an early post, and in the back of my head I know that the day will be long and crazy, but every time that I step on were I have my car parked I got the same feeling over and over again
"What a gorgeous BMW, look those lines, this M-Sport blue is analyzing!" Then I turn that machine on and step on the gas, that 6 cyl +PPK makes me smile. At the end I know that one of the best rewards of being hard worker is to enjoy what you accomplish from it, those 50+K were 100% worth it. Thank you BMW For all the BMW lovers, please share what you feel about your machine.

Mine's going to be an oil-burning grocery-getter. A helluva nice one though.

Sometimes when I walk past the garage door, I open it - just to get another quick look

64-bit,
I can totally relate! I love my car and sometimes when I have a horrible day, going for a spin always puts a smile back on my face. That's what being an enthusiast is all about! |

You'll have minor gripes with any car you buy, whether it's a Porsche, Merc, whatever. If you concern yourself with all the small things, you'll never fully enjoy the car.

At work, when I need to stretch my legs, I walk out to the parking deck - just to take a look

I'll know that feeling soon. I purchased a 328d yesterday. It was late yesterday afternoon when we finalized the deal so I didn't bring it home. The dealer is doing normal prep and satellite radio module install and vehicle programming for it. By noon, I'll be bringing her home, the LONG WAY!!

No F30 here, but my first BMW was a 2006 E60 525i, boy did I love that car! It learned so much about BMW and the CCA with this car. I also spent many hours researching mods over on 5series.net back when it was a thriving community
Mods included: tinted windows, OEM E9x license plate lights, high gloss black M5 grills, ZHP shift knob, LCI headlights, OEM LED door handle lights, matte shadowline trim, m5 strut covers... I finally let her go when I found my SG E92, my GF has nick named "Beemie" Mods so far: OEM Homelink mirror w/compass, OEM alarm, VW/Audi bag hooks in trunk, new exhaust tips... Now come on guys, if you love your cars so much LETS SEE SOME PICS! Last edited by UKBasketball; 10-11-2013 at 04:51 PM.. |

I park my car to catch the train. The EBII and 19s are already eye catchers as you are approaching the car from the train at night. As if that wasn't enough, the alarm system has the red light that flashes every 5seconds or so. So even if you don't want to look at it, there is this flashing red light going "look at me" "look at me"
Yep, tone down on the flashing red lights BMW
