Aftermarket Headunit problems

Hey guys new to this having a little problem, iv fitted a new aftermarket head unit to my e90 and everything is fine but im having a problem with on/off , when i turn car on the headunit switches on but it does not switch off when i turn car off so i have to manually turn it off, also it goes back to factory setting when it does turn on , iv got a yellow wire with fuse connected direct to fuse box, no ignition, any help would be appreciated!
