Hey, I've read a lot about the older style OBD connector K type and the newer DCAN style. The thing is this: my 335i was built in 03/07 which after reading is the cut-off and start up of the new DCAN type. I want to buy a new OBD connector to start coding but not sure which one I require? How can I tell which one i need? Thanks in advance!

Most of the good interfaces support both, there's a utility that come with them to select between K-CAN and D-CAN.
