coapi-2021 & ifh-0010 errors
hi, i have a chinese blue cable , which i succesfully used with win 7 32-bit and software provided in "bmw coding success" topic. now i have different laptop.
win 7 64bit. i was forced to download other stuff. from this topic. it's bmw tools 2.12 , ncs exper 4.01 . i did everything instructed. installed. the device in device manager looked quite weird , but was com1, so i proceeded. i loaded ncsexpert, loaded the provided profile, pushed f1,f3 , then chose e89,cas , it showed up ok, push f6 , process ecu , chose the needed module(i actually tried different ones) and got this error i tried to modify the profile as my older diy mentioned, entering password and checking all the boxes, but still didn't get it to work. anyone have a clue? you recommend the 32bit os ? |

Make sure that the enumeration box is not selected when you go in the settings for COM1. I have not used the mentioned program but got a similar error until I properly setup COM1 in device manager.

Did you make the necessary changes to the EDIABAS.ini and obd.ini files in c:\ediabas\bin? Also copy and paste the edited obd.ini into c:\windows.
