e90 M3 waiting list (US)

I know we have a few threads out there regarding the e92 M3 waiting list, i'm just wondering if anyone has placed themselves on a e90 list. I know it's awfully early, but with the recent press anouncement about the sedan I thought there might be a few out there.

I just received an e-mail from my CA who informs me that as per my request yesterday, I am officially #1 on the e90 list. No deposit was required at this time. I am still #24 on the e92 list, but I will be giving that up at the proper time.

This is kind of the same thing I did for my 335...I was #5 on the list for the e92, but I gave that up to become #1 on the e90 list. It worked out great

Last I asked in AZ there were 2 or 3 people on the E90 sedan list.. Give it a year and they will have M3 sedans and coupes in stock and you can get below MSRP.. If your on a list your going to pay MSRP and are getting screwed.

Well, maybe your right, but I've never seen an M3 in stock at my dealer, ever. Obviously I'm talking about the e46 m3, but my particular dealer has such a low allocation that they rarely had anything available. And believe me, I checked.

Maybe the e90 will be different. I don't know. I'm not actually interested in getting anything way below msrp anyways. I mean don't get me wrong, I will try, but as long as I'm getting at least msrp I'll be ok.

My dad had the 2nd E46 M3 in the valley (was on a wait list paid MSRP).. 2 years later walked into the dealer and they had 3 M3's and I walked out with one of them. (paid below MSRP). Last time I went they had 2 M5's and M6 and a few 06 M3's along with Z4 M coups, trust me they are making a lot more M cars now days than in the past.

Now days a lot of people put their name on the list and try and sell the car before it comes but I dont see any market for this anymore.. So you end up with a lot of cars that come in with no one taking them. Like I said if you can wait a year you will save a lot of money.. Right now I have my current E90 lease set up so I have about 8 months of forced waiting before I can make a decision. After hearing the V8 in the videos I have my mind set lol.

Absolutely agree. i just came from San Diego BMW for my first service and they had three M5s, an Mcoupe and a White M6 outside. Being the first to have one is really cool, but it is just a short time after that there will be a bunch on the lot.

I'm #1 on the e90 list @ my dealer.

No markup...MSRP with $500 in dealer accessories.

I'm #2 in Austin, but I got a Cayman S last month and it's so much fun I'm not sure I'll take delivery of the E90 M3.

Just got on the waiting list at Westchester BMW in NY. There were like 35 people waiting for the coupe. I asked about the Sedan and they said they thought there was only like 1 other person in front of me.

Go to another dealer or county....I am sure wait lists are better there.
