Remove wires in glovebox? need help disconnecting
So im doing the bluetooth retofit.
Can't seem to get the wires out of the harness. tried pushing down on them? any ideas? http://lazd.net/stuff/bluetoothRetro...tor_before.jpg |

I had the same problem. You need to pop the sides of the connector off. If you look at the connector carefully you can kinda see how it's supposed to pop off. Once you have the sides popped off the pins slide right out real easy...it shouldn't take much force at all. Shoot me a pm if you need more help.

I haven't messed with adding contacts to the phone book. Most times I just make calls from the my iPhone 5 menus. I have however made calls through the phone menus in iDrive by navigating to a person's name alphabetically...not sure if that's what you mean by adding contacts to the phone book or not.

Do you mean adding a voice tag to the car's bluetooth system? If so press voice command button on steering wheel and say "add name". The system will talk you through the rest.
Later, to dial by name press voice command and say "dial name". Alternatively you can press the home button on your iphone to access Siri to use the iPhone's built in voice control. |
