My 08 E92 has LED License plate lights

This is my first post, I have been browsing for some time now, and I picked up my 335 3 days ago at the Performance Center in SC.

Back to the topic, Just FYI the 08 E92's come with LED license plate lights and possibly can get them for 07s, Not sure though.

I look forward to posting here more often, E90post.com is the BEST!!!!

i want dimmer plate LED's. the last thing i need is people seeing my plates. its bad enough that i have the only fucking reflective plates in teh fucking country. lol

is it going to be as simple as swapping out the bulbs...i'm guessing no since it's an LED setup....anyone know?

hahhah...I really hope this is true. Many of us are getting some retrofits done---check the FS threads. I love that when we were first signing up to get this done...several members were hating---saying it was turning our cars into Lexus.

:finger: to those that thought this was a bad idea. Looks like BMW agrees with us.

and installed them. Just unplug and replug the new ones and they look great.

LED licence plates makes the car looks a lot better...
its just some cheap and very effective exterior cosmetic mods....

If BMW doesn't like LEDs, then we won't have LED lights on our door handles rite?
