int steering shaft replacement?.....

i am having the intermediate steering shaft replaced in my vehicle next week and am wondering is there is any potential issues i should look out for

i am not too pleased about my brand new vehicle going in for such a major operation so i am hoping others who have had the swap done can comment on the process and and any issues they had or with fit/finish of the interior once done

the part is being swapped due to that clicking/notchiness in the when turning the wheel

will this have any effect on the cars alignment?

No effect on the car's alignment and it's not a major issue. It can be swapped out in about 30 minutes to an hour. It's literally two bolts, so not much can go wrong
