Nice article. Anyone else feel a deep sense of pride from owning a model that has such a long and successful tradition, and arguably BMW's most successful line ever?

That's a cool pic (and good article). That photo shows you how each new 3 series might be controversial at first, but it really does look more and more modern.

Definitely. Seems like cars don't really start to look outdated until a new style comes out, then the old one all of the sudden looks old.

I am sure that people who own Model 'T' Fords, VW Beetles and Toyota Corollas get all worked up. BTW, the 3 Series isn't 'argueably' BMWs highest volume seller. It is and has been the bread and butter car for BMW AG.
