HUD Creak and Rattle Fix. With video.

Have a new rattle fix for you guys this time its with video. This is my car and it had an annoying HUD creak, especially when cooler out.

All you need is some foam tape, and a pry bar of some sort. Plastic so you dont scratch things up.

Take a look.

Bad HUD

HUD gasket/foam Creak

HUD bezel retaining clip grind and the fix

Fixed HUD-No Creaks

I haven't had the cluster but I did have some in the column hence why I posted this;

I don't get into detail about the wiring that was chaffing but all I did was move it out if the way and its fine now.

I still have a slight creak in my nav screen that I want to address.

Sorry for my poor english but what to you mean with "chaffing" was it wiring loose?
The confort acces (2:17 in video) & heated steering (2:27) wiring was unatached / loose?
maybe this is the source of my rattlin!!!

No problem I understand. Yes some of the wires on top like for the comfort access were rubbing and I repositioned the upper column shroud leather aka cover piece it was wrinkling in a weird way making a screeching sound every time I rotated the steering wheel.

It went away after I played around with it.

Agreed Audi interior is awesome, looks better, but feels cheaper. I see a lot of their buttons fade.

the overall dynamic package BMW takes every time IMO. Quattro however wins in my book vs x drive.
