Question LCI Halogen to LCI Xenon

I've read until my eyes popped out but I keep finding contradicting info on here as to what needs to be done. I've coded many things, so the knowledge to do this is not an issue, I just want to make sure I do everything right the first time. I know there are a ton of threads but I would just like to make sure i'm clear on things because all the reading I did creates more questions.

Here is my setup, 2010 e90 lci with halogens, bought LCI Bi-Xenon headlights, car has an NFRM3 module.

First: I've read that people are jumpering pins 5&6 (high beam shutter), is this required if we are doing coding, or is this just a coding work around? What if a wire was run between the footwell module instead from pin 41, would this also work? (pin 41 is how it is wired from factory with xenon option)

Second: after adding $522 to the VO for both CAS and NFRM (hopefully these are the only 2 modules) we need to set AUTO_LWR_ENABLE to nicht_aktiv and PWM_ANST_FL_BIXENON to wert_01,wert_01
Is this all that needs to be coding wise?

I really appreciate any help, it seems reading has confused me more than anything else, so many of the write-ups are going from pre-lci halogens to lci xenon, with older NFRM modules...I just want to make sure i'm clear.

Update: I've removed some of the questions I figured out with the Bentley manual...only 2 questions left

Thanks,

George

even if someone doesn't know all the answers to the questions above, feel free to answer the one or two that you do

sorry for a late replay, for my first question, all I did was jumper 5&6, didn't bother with the wire to pin 41 of the footwell module.

Secondly, coding wise I added $522 to CAS and NFRM, by doing this reset the models back to default, I then coded back some of my personal preferences (i.e. angel eyes as daytime running lights) in addition to all those I coded the following in NFRM:

AUTO_LWR_ENABLE changed to nicht_aktiv

Changed:
PWM_ANST_FL_BIXENON
wert_02
wert_03

to:
PWM_ANST_FL_BIXENON
wert_01
wert_01
