Regular Oil?

Ok, I have searched on this topic and there is no thread about this. Has anyone ever used regular 5W30 in their N52 engines? What happens if you do so? Do not worry, I use LL01 oil from Mobile 1. It is just a thought here.

Short term nothing would happen. Long term you'll start to get engine deposits that you normally would not get if you run synthetic like you're supposed to. Dino oil does not have the additive package these engines require. You haven't found threads on it because nobody would ever consider running conventional oil in a $20,000 engine that calls for synthetic
