Scuffed Back Bumper!!
Managed to reverse my 320i m sport onto some very low concrete wall slab at works car park!!! Now I have 2 x 1 inch scuff marks on the bumper defuser and a mark on the actual bumper! I'm really p155ed off with myself but was wondering what's the best way to fix this? BMW body shop or independent? And how much do you think it will cost?

Difficult to tell without picture but I would go to BMW as they use original paint which is necessary in case of blending in which means they put colour on about third of the panel and clear coat the whole. I've seen a lot of this procedure while I worked at a BMW prep/repair centre and they're pretty good it's not possible with every colour but EB is fine I think. The diffuser is a different story you probably will have to replace it or get it painted(which probably will cost more). For the bumper repair I would guess £150-£200.

I think it would probably be easier to replace the defuser then repair the scuff on the bumper as the scuff on the bumper is only about an inch long. How much is a new defuser by the way?

Believe it or not, ChipsAway do a great job on this sort of thing. My wife's E88 got 2 bumper marks just months before selling and I took the ChipsAway route.
Guaranteed for life (whilst you have the car) and less that £100 all in. Perfect match too.

I think I'm just going to live with it for a while and see how I feel as I've only had the car since march this year. The scuffs are not really in a place where you would immediately notice, so I'm just going to suck it and see. If I get any more scratches or marks on the bumper then I'll look into sorting it out.
